It consists of two storage pools, each with a capacity of 296,000 m³, placed side by side, with a maximum depth of 14.9m.

It is equivalent to seven days of plant production, ensuring distribution and availability in case of emergencies and maintenance of the desalination plant.

The reservoirs will be built on natural terrain using materials from the same area, and an interior waterproofing system will be implemented to minimize infiltration.

Three types of maintenance are considered for the facilities: scheduled, preventive, and unscheduled or forced in case of failures.
